These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Answered List mobile application (“App”) provided by Pure Hunger Labs, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Answered List is a privacy-first prayer companion app that helps users organize prayers, track answered prayers, and engage with Scripture. The App stores all data locally on your device. No account creation is required and no data is transmitted to our servers.

2. Eligibility

The App is suitable for all ages. If you are under 18, we recommend that your parent or legal guardian review these Terms with you. The App does not collect any personal data from users of any age.

3. Free and Premium Features

The App is available in a free version with core functionality. Additional features are available through an optional paid subscription (“Answered List Premium”).

Free features include: prayer management, 2 themes, 6 categories, the World English Bible (WEB), daily reminders, voice input, and private prayers.

Premium features include: additional themes, unlimited categories, additional English Bible translations, smart lists, calendar view, prayer journaling, tags, PDF export, Prayer Partner sharing, and font/color customization.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Pricing

Answered List Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription at the following prices:

  • Monthly: $1.99/month
  • Annual: $9.99/year

Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region. The actual price displayed at the time of purchase in the App Store or Google Play Store is the binding price.

4.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.

4.3 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial expires. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.4 Managing and Canceling Subscriptions

You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s subscription settings:

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until the period expires. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

4.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Bible Content

The App includes the World English Bible (WEB), which is in the public domain and may be freely used without restriction. Additional Bible translations available through Premium are provided via third-party APIs and may be subject to their respective copyright and licensing terms.

6. User Data and Privacy

All prayer data, journal entries, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Prayer Partner Sharing

The Prayer Partner sharing feature allows you to export prayers to a file and share it with others. You are solely responsible for the content you share and the recipients you choose. Shared files are transferred directly between devices — we do not facilitate, store, or have access to shared content.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or its content
  • Use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content through the sharing features

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, icons, and original content, is the property of Pure Hunger Labs, LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. “Answered List” and the Answered List logo are the property of Pure Hunger Labs, LLC. The World English Bible text is in the public domain.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any Bible translations provided through third-party APIs.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PURE HUNGER LABS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for backing up your device to prevent data loss.

12. Third-Party Services

The App may connect to third-party services (such as Bible translation APIs) that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these services.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Premium features if these Terms are violated. Upon termination, your right to use Premium features ceases, but your locally stored data remains on your device.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
