General

Is Answered List really free?

Yes. The core features of Answered List are completely free and always will be. You can create unlimited prayers, track answered prayers, read the built-in Bible, use Verse of the Day, and more without paying anything. Premium is an optional upgrade that unlocks additional themes, journaling, smart lists, calendar view, and other extras for $9.99/year.

Is there an Android version?

Yes! Answered List is available on both iOS and Android. You can download it from the App Store for iPhone and iPad, or from Google Play for Android devices.


Privacy & Data

Where is my data stored?

All of your data is stored locally on your device only. Answered List does not use servers, cloud storage, or any form of remote data sync. We never see, collect, or transmit your prayers. Your data is completely private.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Your Answered List data is included in your standard device backup. On iOS, if you use iCloud backup, your data is automatically backed up along with everything else on your device. On Android, your data is included in Google’s automatic backup. When you restore your backup on a new device, your prayers and all app data will be restored with it.

How do private prayers work?

When creating or editing a prayer, you can toggle “Make Private” to mark it as a private prayer. Private prayers are protected by Face ID, fingerprint, or your device passcode. They are completely hidden from the main prayer list, excluded from all exports and sharing, and only visible after biometric authentication. This gives you a safe space for your most personal prayers.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Premium users can export their prayers as PDF documents or as .answeredlist files. PDF exports create a beautifully formatted document of your prayer history. The .answeredlist format is used for Prayer Partner sharing, allowing you to share selected prayers with friends or small groups. Private prayers are always excluded from all exports.


Features

What Bible translation is included?

Answered List includes the World English Bible (WEB), a modern, readable, public domain translation. It’s fully bundled with the app and works completely offline — no internet connection needed. Premium users get access to additional English translations for side-by-side comparison.

Can I share prayers with others?

Yes. Answered List supports Prayer Partner sharing using .answeredlist files. You can share selected prayers with friends, family, or small groups, and they can import them into their own copy of the app. Private prayers are always automatically excluded from sharing to protect your most personal requests.


Premium & Billing

How do I cancel Premium?

Premium subscriptions are managed through your device’s app store. On iOS, go to Settings > your name (Apple ID) > Subscriptions, find Answered List, and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, find Answered List, and tap Cancel. You’ll continue to have access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.
